This Repair Service Policy applies to repairs that are NOT covered under our limited warranty.
It is for customers who want to send their Karma instrument or pickup for service after the 90-day warranty has expired or for issues that are not eligible under warranty, such as accidental damage, wear and tear, or user modifications.

We offer repair services to help customers keep their instruments in top condition but these are paid repairs, and certain rules apply.

1. Repair Request and Approval

  • Customers must first contact us by email at 📧 service@karmaguitars.mx to request a repair and describe the issue.

  • If we accept the repair, we’ll provide a Return Authorization (RA) number and instructions for shipping.

  • The customer is responsible for shipping and insurance costs to and from Karma Guitars.

2. Estimates and Payment

  • After we receive the instrument, we will inspect it and send a repair estimate.

  • Repairs will not begin until the customer approves the estimate and pays in full.

  • If the customer refuses the estimate, they can request the return of their instrument (return shipping must be paid by the customer).

3. Communication and Abandoned Instruments

We are committed to clear communication and customer service, but we must also protect our business and inventory.

  • If we do not receive a response from the customer after 5 contact attempts over 12 months, or if the customer does not pay the repair fees, the following applies:

  • We will hold the instrument for up to 1 year from the last unanswered message.

  • After that time, the customer forfeits ownership of the instrument.

  • Karma Guitars may keep or resell the instrument to recover storage or repair costs.

4. Final Notes

  • All repair work is done only with customer approval and full payment in advance.

  • This policy applies only to repairs outside the 90-day limited warranty.

  • For warranty-related repairs, please refer to our [Limited Warranty Policy].
