Repair Policy

Repair Policy

Last updated: June 23, 2026

This Repair Policy applies to repairs NOT covered by our Limited Warranty: instruments outside the 12-month warranty period, or issues not eligible for warranty (accidental damage, wear, or user modifications). These are paid repairs, and the following rules apply. Service available for Mexico.

1. Request and approval

  • Write to service@karmaguitars.mx first describing the issue.
  • If we accept the repair, we'll give you a Return Authorization (RA) number and shipping instructions.
  • The customer covers round-trip shipping and insurance costs.

2. Quote and payment

  • Once we receive the instrument, we inspect it and send you a repair quote.
  • The repair does NOT begin until you approve the quote and pay the full amount upfront.
  • If you decline the quote, you may request your instrument back (return shipping is covered by the customer).

3. Communication and abandoned instruments

We care about communication and service, but we also have to protect our business and our inventory. If we don't hear back from the customer after 5 contact attempts over a 12-month period, or if the customer doesn't pay for repairs, the following applies:

  • We hold the instrument for up to 1 year from the last unanswered message.
  • After that time, the customer forfeits ownership of the instrument.
  • Karma Guitars may keep or resell the instrument to recover storage or repair costs.

4. Final notes

  • All repairs are performed only with customer approval and full upfront payment.
  • This policy applies only to repairs outside the 12-month Limited Warranty.
  • For warranty repairs, see our Limited Warranty.
