Enso Collection
Karma Enso takes its name from the circle drawn in a single stroke: the idea of something complete, with nothing extra. That's this guitar. It's the point on the ladder where you get a truly professional docerola: sound, woods, construction, at the price where the big brands are barely selling you their entry-level model. ENSO is for the player who already makes a living playing and doesn't want to overpay for a logo.
Up against the first Takamine
At this price you're going to run into the Takamine name, and rightly so: they earned their crown with the Pro Series docerolas: Legacy EF381SC, EF381DX, P3DC-12 and the legendary JJ325SRC-12. But for $15,999 MXN you're not buying a Takamine Pro Series; you're buying their entry-level model, the Takamine GD30CE-12 docerola. So, if you really think it through, for the same money Karma Enso gives you a complete Pro platform: three sound sources, solid top, volute, carbon fiber-reinforced neck and hard case. Total respect to those who paved the way; but at this price, the Pro Specs come from Karma Enso.
Hard case included: Travel like a pro
In the ENSO series, the hard case is included in the price. It sounds like a small detail, but it isn't: a player who makes a living playing carries their guitar everywhere, and a real case is the difference between showing up ready or showing up with a problem.
Karma Boost Pro™ : The stage in three dimensions
ENSO comes with the 4-band Karma Boost Pro system, with three sound sources you blend to your taste. Why does it matter? Because most guitars at this price give you a single under-saddle pickup, a flat, nasal sound. ENSO gives you body, air and definition all at once, the ingredients of a sound that truly fills a room. It's the rung where KARMA gets you sounding like the players you admire.
Who is the Karma Enso for?
For the player who already makes a living playing and doesn't want to overpay for a logo: the one who wants a complete pro guitar with a traditional look.
Solid top and premium construction
The Karma Enso is a solid guitar in every sense. A solid wood top that breathes and matures, a bolt-on neck reinforced with carbon fiber, a volute at the headstock and a bridge with double reinforcement screws, with Bridge Doctor on the docerola. It's the complete recipe for a reliable tool, the kind that holds up to touring and feels just as good on day one as in year three.
KARMA ENSO 12-BLK · PRE-ORDER
The KARMA ENSO 12-BLK is an acoustic-electric docerola (12-string guitar) made for Regional Mexicano. It is the step up to Karma's professional sound. Dreadnought body with cutaway, solid Sitka spruce top, mahogany back and sides, Double-X bracing and gloss finish in black. Mahogany neck with 2 carbon fiber rods and a volute, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle, and a 644 mm scale length. It has a Karma Boost Pro 4-band preamp with tuner and a factory-installed Bridge Doctor, and ships from the factory with .010-.047 phosphor bronze strings in unison pairs. Hard case included; 12-month warranty.
Definitely not just any Docerola.
Bridge Doctor System
A system that sits inside the guitar, mounted under the bridge, with an adjustable pressure post that rests against the tail block and applies leverage to keep the top flat and stable.
Double-X Bracing System
Double X bracing to handle unison-pair strings. This internal reinforcement spreads the extra tension, protects the top from giving way over the years and, at the same time, lets the guitar project more clarity and power.
Reinforced Bridge
Two bolts with nuts are installed through the bridge and the top, fastening them mechanically. The head of each bolt sits in a counterbore and is covered with a mother-of-pearl inlay, so it is hidden from the outside.
KARMA ENSO 6-BLK · PRE-ORDER
The KARMA ENSO 6-BLK is a 6-string acoustic-electric guitar, the rhythm guitar (armonía) that accompanies the requinto in Regional Mexicano. It is the step up to Karma's professional sound. Dreadnought body with cutaway, solid Sitka spruce top, mahogany back and sides, X-Bracing and gloss finish in black. Mahogany neck with 2 carbon fiber rods and a volute, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle, and a 644 mm scale length. It has a Karma Boost Pro 4-band preamp with tuner, and ships from the factory with .011-.052 phosphor bronze strings. Hard case included; 12-month warranty.
