Repair Policy

Repair Policy

Last updated: October 6, 2026

This Repair Policy applies to repairs that are NOT covered by our Limited Warranty: instruments outside the 12-month warranty period, or problems not eligible under warranty (accidental damage, wear or user modifications). These are paid repairs, and the following rules apply. Service available for Mexico.

1. Request and approval

  • Write first to service@karmaguitars.mx describing the problem.
  • If we accept the repair, we will give you a Return Authorization (RA) number and shipping instructions.
  • With your RA number, send the instrument to our workshop: Av. Ignacio López Rayón 211-B, Centro, Reforma, 85830 Navojoa, Sonora, Mexico. Do not send anything without an RA.
  • The customer covers shipping and insurance costs both ways.

2. Quote and payment

  • When we receive the instrument we inspect it and send you a repair quote within a maximum of 10 business days. The repair time is confirmed in the quote.
  • The repair does NOT begin until you approve the quote and pay the full amount in advance.
  • If you decline the quote, you can ask for your instrument to be returned (return shipping is paid by the customer).

3. Communication and abandoned instruments

We take care of communication and service, but we must also protect our business and our inventory. If we receive no response from the customer after 5 contact attempts over a 12-month period, or if the customer does not pay for the repairs, the following applies:

  • We keep the instrument for up to 1 year from the last unanswered message.
  • After that time, the customer loses ownership of the instrument.
  • Karma Guitars may keep or resell the instrument to recover storage or repair costs.

4. Final notes

  • Every repair is performed only with the customer's approval and full payment in advance.
  • This policy applies only to repairs outside the 12-month Limited Warranty.
  • For warranty repairs, see our Limited Warranty.
