Rayo

Ángel Muñiz, known as "Rayo", is a requinto player from Palau, Coahuila, based in San Antonio, Texas. The nickname comes from the way he plays the requinto. In his own words, beyond technique, he wants his music to sound beautiful and convey what he feels.

In August 2021 he joined Cachas de Oro, a sierreño group formed in San Antonio in 2018, with which he gained wider exposure thanks to the single "Arroz Con Leche". He has also collaborated with Dany Fender, Dany Zapata and T3R Elemento.
